こんにちは皆さん！私はジェームズと申します。 ここでは、私がどのようにして皆さんに英語を教えていくかをお話したいと思います。
私は学生時代、たくさんの様々な教師の方々を経験してきました。 退屈な先生が多くで、中にはイジワルな先生や、素敵な先生、そして少数ですが興味深い先生もいました。 たとえその教科が好きでなくとも、興味を惹きつけられる先生からは多くを学ぶ事ができました！ リラックスしたフレンドリーな環境の中、面白いトピックで学ぶ事が学習に一番効果的だと私は確信しています。 良い教師というのは、このような環境の中で苦痛無く、常に新しいアイデアを次々と紹介できるスキルを持って いると私は考えます。私は常にこの考えを念頭に置きレッスンを準備し、素晴らしく上達した生徒達を見てきました。
もうひとつの大切な要素は、目標に合わせたレッスンです。 言い換えれば、貴方自身のニーズに合わせたレッスンとも言えます。 それぞれのニーズは、生徒から直接ヒアリングし、さらに実際にレッスンを通して適正や得意分野を考慮します。 まず初めは、生徒それぞれに英語を学ぶに際し、どの分野に焦点を当てたいかを伺います。 そしてその分野からレッスンをスタートしましょう。 その後継続的に、生徒にとって上達の必要がある分野をレッスンを通して私が見つけてゆきます。 どの分野に焦点を当てるか、どの様に英語を伸ばしていくか私が提案していきますし、 一緒にベストな方法を見つけましょう！ 学ぶという事は変動的であるべきで、固定された定型的なレッスンでは最大限に英語を伸ばすことができません。 まとめると：リラックス・楽しい・面白い・目標に合わせたダイナミックなレッスンです！

James' Teaching Style Hi everybody! My name's James! I'd like to tell you about my teaching style.
In my school days I've experienced many different kinds of teachers. Many of them were boring, some were so mean, some were nice, and a few were interesting. I learned the most easily from the interesting teachers, even if I didn't like the subject! I believe that in a relaxed, friendly environment with interesting topics people can learn the most. I think good teachers always have the skill to introduce new ideas in this way, painlessly. As a result, I plan my lessons with that in mind and I've seen wonderful results in my students.
Another important factor for me is targeted lessons. I mean lessons which have been planned for your own needs. I learn what those needs are both directly and indirectly. At first I ask each student directly which areas of English they want to focus on. Then, I indirectly notice which areas of English the student needs improvement in. Finally the student and I discuss the best way to improve those areas. Learning is a very dynamic process and having a fixed lesson plan can only limit the student.
To sum it up: relaxed, fun, interesting, targeted and dynamic lessons! If you are passing by Kobe or Sannomiya, why don't you stop by to say "Hi"!

来日して以来、兵庫県芦屋市に住んでいましたが、教室の近くの三宮に引っ越して来ました！ まだまだ神戸 や三宮 のエリアでは新参者です。神戸 や三宮 の付近でおもしろい場所があれば是非教えて下さいね。 そして僕はこれからも絶対日本に住んでいきたいと思っています！日本の文化、人々、生き方が大好きです！ 僕はビクトリア大学でコンピュータサイエンスを専攻していまいした。ヴィジュアルアート(描くのも見るのも)、 言語学、世界文化、ドライブ、そして観光に興味があります。 僕は英語とフランス語に堪能で、現在日本語を楽しく学んでいます。その他いくつかの言語に関しても人生を 通して学んでいます。僕にとって言語とは文化であり、そして文化は本当に興味深いものです！ 僕はとっても社交的で、いろんな人と交流している時が一番幸せです！ 日本では大手有名英会話学校でキッズからシニアまで幅広い世代に英会話を教えていました。

Some Background of the Native Speaker James McVeigh Flood Canadian
I have moved to Sannomiya from Ashiya, where I lived since I arrived in Japan, In order to be close to Realize. I am new in the Kobe, Sannomiya, area and I would love to know about interesting places around Sannomiya or Kobe! I definitely intend to stay in Japan! I absolutely love the culture, the people, and the way of life. I graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelors of Computer Science. My interests include visual arts (both practiced and appreciated), linguistics, world culture, driving, and sightseeing. I am fluent in both English and French, and am enjoying learning Japanese, I have also picked up pieces of other languages throughout my life, to me language is culture and culture is interesting! I am a people-person and it is while socializing that I am at my happiest! I have experience teaching English to Japanese people in certain big famous English schools.
